Red Kids
We are passionate about partnering with parents to introduce children to the mystery and wonder of our amazing God who chooses to have a personal and intimate relationship with them. We believe that children can be passionate followers of Jesus and bringers of his kingdom into our world.
We gather weekly on Sundays during the 10:00 am service and have other events throughout the year for kids to grow in their discovery of God the creator.
If this will be your first time visiting Red Church, we welcome to pre-register your child.
Primary
Our primary age children join with the adults in church for the first two worship songs before heading to the Primary room.
Each year level has their own coloured mat to sit on to encourage kids to form friendships and build connection. These small groups become the hubs for discipleship with their own consistent leaders.
On any given Sunday our program contains elements of:
Fostering a heart that loves to worship because Jesus is worthy.
Dynamic and engaging teaching of the core tenants of our Christian faith, Bible stories and Biblical truths using a variety of methods such as film, drama, games and crafts.
Encouraging a personal relationship with Jesus and making it a priority in everyday life.
Understanding we are called to be bringers of God's kingdom and influences in our world.
Pre-School
Our Pre-School program is for children from 18 months to 4-year-old kinder. It is a safe and friendly program that aims to bring God and His word alive in a relevant and fun way.
On any given Sunday our program contains elements of
Experiential play stations designed to prompt conversations about our three values of God made me, God loves me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Engaging in worship, through singing and movement.
Bibles stories, teaching and craft to reinforce the ‘big idea’.
An encounter prayer time where each child is prayed for and children are encouraged to pray.
Infants
Infants are welcome in our services and for comfort and privacy there is a small feeding space with viewing and sound to the main auditorium and accompanying change table in the nearby bathroom.
Child Safety
Providing a safe environment for children is a priority and our volunteer leaders all have a Working with Children Check, two reference checks, an interview and are trained through Childsafe.
Playgroup
Wednesdays during school terms
10 am – 11:15 am

A space to connect with other parents, support and encourage one another in prayer, and invite others along.
There is a play space for children where they can choose different toys and play freely, then we will finish with a story and a song.
