Red is a Church that seeks to proactively engage with, relate to and challenge culture. Our love for Jesus means that mission is at our heart and we seek ways of activating God’s plan to bring about his justice and ultimately share Christ’s message within our community through relationship, action and word. Similarly we are dedicated to equipping people to a life of discipleship and challenging each other to actively grow in faith and pursue a life of transformation. We acknowledge we can only do this through the leadership, empowerment, presence, counsel and healing power of the Holy Spirit.
The Lausanne Covenant outlines the core beliefs that Red bases itself upon, a full copy of the document can be found here.
In essence we seek to be a community who exhibits:

Exists to serve and worship God above self.
Is filled with people committed to becoming more like Jesus.
Is committed to the gospel being known within ourselves, our community
and our world.

Is committed to social, personal and spiritual maturity.
Practices grace and acceptance and also realises that the path of a disciple is a path towards healing, wholeness and holiness.
Is made up of disciples who live their life through Jesus’ spirit of the denial of self.
Has a covenantal approach to Church, faith, sexuality and relationships.
Is committed to teaching and knowing the word of God and seeks practical ways to live that out.
Measures growth and success not by numbers, but on the quality
of the level of our discipleship and on our outward love
for our community.
Shows others that despite everything our culture tells us, there
is another story.
To see our local community transformed by Christ and his message as shown through us; a people of passionate and committed disciples dedicated to Christ’s alternative for the world.
To awaken people to Christ and his message and equip them to live faith in real life.
